Silica gel(Blue )

The granular gel can absorb up to 40% of its weight in water vapor. When it reaches approximately 8% of its weight in water, the crystals’ color changes from blue to light pink. As the beads take up moisture, their color changes to light pink gradually. This blue silica gel is primarily used as an indicator for moisture absorption in sealed containers, particularly in industrial applications where it is supplied in small pouches or bulk quantities. The blue crystals are mainly used in breather transformer applications and are also supplied in bulk quantities. Characteristics：
Shape: glass-like pellets or lumps.
Color: blue or light blue.
Turning from blue to pink after absorbing moistures.
Use：Mainly used for absorbing moisture, anti-rusting of instruments, gauges and equipment in the enclosed conditions. After absorbing moisture, it turns from blue to red, visually indicating the relative humidity of the given environments. When being used with ordinary silica gel or drier, it indicates to which extent the drier absorbs the moisture and judges the relative humidity of a given environment.
